Transformer Furniture: Tatamis to TablesIn Japan, room sizes are not measured in feet or meters, but in mats, based on multiples of the standardized tatami mats that were traditionally used to cover floors. They have fallen out of favour, but designer Shin Yamashita has reinvented them in a modern version that might just bring them back. Think Tatami meets Dror Benshetritmeets IKEA flatpack.

I love this kitchen. I need it.
Pink Kitchen.
I approve, especially with that black counter top. If you have to pick a shade of pink, that has to be the best out there. As for the rest of the pink kitchen photos in this set on Apartment Therapy, I’m totally ‘meh’ over.
